Training
FALL SEASON
We meet Monday through Friday from 3:15 - 5:15pm at RHS in the back gym (wrestling room). On Saturdays, we meet from 9:00 - 11:00 am at the Redmond Watershed Preserve for Long Runs.
Here is a typical practice day:
3:15 - Whole team meets in the back gym (wrestling room, behind the main gym)
3:30 - Whole team warm up
4:00 - Start run / workout in groups
5:00 - Cool down, general strength and stretching
5:15 - Practice ends
SUMMER TRAINING
The best way to set yourself up for a successful Cross Country season is to train consistently and come to as many practices as you can. Summer training begins the last week of June. The Summer Training Booklet will be sent out via email two weeks after Track season ends.
Mondays - Meet at Redmond City Hall 9:00-11:00am
Tuesdays - Meet at Timberline Middle School Track 9:00-11:00am
Wednesdays - On your own
Thursdays - Meet at Hartman Park 9:00-11:00am
Fridays - On your own
Saturdays - Meet at Redmond Watershed Preserve 9:00-11:00am
Insufficient Off Season Training
When you don't run enough in the off season, you end up back where you started every season.
Sufficient Off Season Training
When you run consistently throughout the off-season you get to pick up where you left off!
